Embrace SQL Server auditing and more
Learn best practices from industry experts
To comply with GDPR and other regulations, DBAs are implementing audit solutions for SQL Server. But many of these solutions can affect performance overhead and increase costs by storing too much audit data. In this presentation, SQL Server expert Martin Wild will discuss auditing and show you how to overcome common challenges.
What you will learn
Martin will demonstrate a SQL Server solution that can help you:
- Filter and restrict what audit data is collected
- Find sensitive data in your databases
- Perform automatic integration with a SIEM system
- Understand your data and know who is accessing and changing it
You’ll see how to measure overhead and balance performance and audit requirements. Plus, you’ll gain expert input from erwin on using data models and their metadata to support your data governance and intelligence efforts.
