No. There is virtually no limit to the number of objects the tool can process
Is there a way to filter objects before running the comparison process?
Yes. Once the new project is initiated, source and destination databases are set in the Data sources tab, switch to the Object filter tab under the Additional options and here select object types and/or specific objects to include in the comparison process:
