Apex SQL Tools Blog: Product Update Alert - ApexSQL Snapshot Utility 2005.01.0003

A new freeware version of ApexSQL Snapshot Utility 2005.01.0003 has been released.

Here are the complete release notes for the new version.

This utility, right now, is intended for creating ApexSQL Diff snapshots. You can use it on hosts that you are unable to connect to remotely and compare them with live databases or another ApexSQL Snapshot using ApexSQL Diff.
In the future, ApexSQL Snapshots can be used in other ApexSQL tools as well.

Product Update Alerts will be posted on this blog. For automatic notification pls subscribe to RSS Feed.
The product will also automatically check for and notify users of new versions (as well as allow for automatic update via the application interface).

Very usefull addition to the product!

If this could be packaged as a "copy-and-run" utility, without requiring an installer to be run, it would even more useful. Sometimes installing 3rd party code on a remote server is prohibited.

Yes, this utility can be just copied and run without installation. To accomplish that install it on your machine and just copy the installation folder.
