Toolbars Context Menu

Toolbars Context Menu is displayed when you right-click over one of the four toolbars. Using toolbars context menu it is possible to hide or show the selected toolbar, and also customize its appearance.

Context Menu Items

Item

Description

Standard

Shows|Hides the Standard Toolbar.

 

 

Auditing

Shows|Hides the Auditing Toolbar.

 

 

Grid Operations

Shows|Hides the Grid Operations Toolbar.

 

 

Database Login

Shows|Hides the Database Login Toolbar.

 

 

Customize

Opens the Toolbars Customize dialog.

 

 

Toolbars Customize Dialog

The Customize menu item is used to open the Customize dialog, and allows you to change the toolbars appearance.

The Customize dialog consists of 3 tabs: Toolbars, Commands and Options, and allows you to customize the commands shortcuts, by the Customize Keyboard dialog.

Toolbars

Using this tab you can enable/disable one or more toolbars, add a new toolbar, rename a created one, delete a created one or reset the settings you applied to any of the toolbars.

Available Buttons

Button

Description

NewToolbar_button.jpg

This will display the New Toolbar dialog.

 

 

RenameToolbarButton.jpg

This will display the Rename Toolbar dialog.

 

 

DeleteToolbarButton.jpg

This will delete a created toolbar.

 

 

ResetToolbarButton.jpg

This will reset the settings applied to a toolbar.

 

 

New Toolbar

NewToolbar_dialog.jpg

Enter the toolbar name of your choice and click OK_ToolbarButton.jpg.

The new created toolbar will be displayed in the Toolbars list.

Rename Toolbar

In the example above we will rename the "Custom 1" toolbar with "My Toolbar".

Reset Toolbar settings

For example, if you added/removed an item to the "Database Login" toolbar, a warning will be displayed when clicking the ResetToolbarButton.jpg button.

Commands

This tab allows you to see and manage the commands available for a particular toolbar.

This will display a context menu.

 

 

Modify Selection commands

Reset

Resets the command.

 

 

Delete

Deletes the added command from the toolbar.

 

 

Name

Allows you to modify the name of the command.

 

 

Default Style

Uses the default style for the command.

 

 

Text Only

Displays only the text for the command.

 

 

Image and Text

Displays both the image and text of the command.

 

 

Begin a Group

The added command to the respective toolbar will start a new group.

 

 

Options

This tab allows you to manage the presentation of menu and toolbars. The options are self-explained.

Customize Keyboard

Click Keyboard.jpg button to open the Customize Keyboard dialog. Here, it is possible to assign a shortcut to a selected command (click AssignButton.jpg), remove the previously made assignment (click RemoveButton.jpg), or reset all applied settings (click ResetAllButton.jpg).
