ApexSQL Audit program will start with the project wizard, and the first step will allow you to:

Create a New Project | This will start a new session with no current databases selected and all application defaults selected. This will ignore settings changed for any previous sessions and will revert to original defaults specified by the application. |

Edit a Current Project | Depending on whether a project is currently loaded or not, this will load the settings from currently loaded project or load the last saved settings respectively. So if a project isn't currently loaded it will load with the last used settings (for example server and database selections) - regardless of whether the project was saved or not. |

|
|
|
|
Open an Existing Project | This will load a previously saved project. Previously saved projects references are persisted for easy retrieval. |
The file extension for an ApexSQL Audit project is *.axad.
