ApexSQL Audit Application Window

The ApexSQL Audit application window includes the following parts: the Main Menu, the Standard Toolbar, the Auditing Toolbar, the Database Login Toolbar, the Audit Selection Toolbar, the Main Screen, the Outlook Bar and the Status Bar.

Main Menu

The Main Menu offers standard options for working with projects, commands related to auditing and reporting, accessing options, customizing the view and Help menu.

Standard Toolbar

Offers a subset of features related to triggers, reports, options, printing, and help.

Main Screen

Depending on the selected commands in the View Menu, the main screen may look different. The main screen always displays the audit grid but the other grids - Fields, Row Key, Lookups, Watches, and Triggers - may not be displayed.

Outlook Bar

The Outlook Bar allows an easy choice to the commands in the three sections: Auditing, Reporting and Application.

Status Bar

The Status Bar shows the name of the project you open, the SQL Server name you have connected to, the name of the database, and the user name.
